Let me get this straight, neg died in 2065 for some reason, asuna oversleep 30 years, ayaka managed to live all the 100 years that asuna was supposed to sleep but since asuna oversleep she died... and now we find eva and chao... with this EXTREMELY big twist of events i cannot think of what kind of ending negima will have in 3 more chapters...

K what you think?. I read this chapter quite a while ago and im still in shock, what about you guys 😲 🤢 🤢

I remember Rakan saying that

Negi looks like the kind of protagonist who dies 3 chapters prior to the series end...

As for Negima ending... I only hope it's a setup for a final arc that will be published under a different name. Since Negi isn't a teacher anymore.

As for the chapter itself,

I don't think Akamatsu has the balls to do it. If Asuna goes back in time, I expect a sequel. If he does go through with killing Negi and will end the series in such a bittersweet tone, my respect for him will rise drastically despite me being disappointed with Negima's ending. But I am 99,9% sure that it's raw emotional manipulation of the readers. He's already done it a couple of times, the most prominent one being the deaths of multiple important residents of the Magic World.

and zazie since she is a demon
and sayo since she is already dead...
raken ages slower and the 3rd princess they should be alive too
and al as well...

and i still think that chao the desandant of negi is a desendant of aszuna as well so she should
still travel back in time cuz i just cant imagin negi marriing another girl...

A few things:

1. Chachamaru was the robot, not Chisame.
2. Sayo had been brought back to life (see Asuna's comment about her having legs when she's going through the time capsule) so she probably died... again.
3. It's never stated how long demons live in Negima.
4. Al can't leave the library except when the World Tree is alight, so he might still be alive.
5. It never states that Negi got married in this timeline, just that he had a descendant.

As for Rakan and the princess, you have a point.

Only 3 more chapters...it's been a good run. This chapter definitely had a lot of things going for it. Revealing little tid bits here and there. Though the ending was a good cliff hanger. I just hope it all wraps up well.

Somehow, I just can't stomache the people who want Asuna and Negi to get together. I kinda see that this is the direction Akamatsu's been taking this story in but... seriously, their relationship has always stricken me as that of two siblings rather than a romantic couple. So that kind of ending would be full of squick for me, and so I cannot help but be irked when someone speaks of that eventuality.

Anyone, including even Albireo Imma, would be a more suitable pairing for Negi from where I stand.

Little confused, if officially Negi's whereabouts are considered unknown, why does he have a grave? Maybe they (whoever they are) wanted/needed to keep his death a secret from the general public, but that still leaves the question about having a marked grave.
Reminds me a bit of what happened with his father for some reason...
I'm not going to predict anything, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's still floating around somewhere.

hey thats a really good hint, if he was dead and was given even a tombstone then the information about negi shouldnt be unknown, it should have been stated that he died in the information that asuna had, maybe they put that tombstone there on purpose.
