Hi,
just wondering if anybody knows where to find some nice manga wallpapers. So far when i go looking for wallpapers there are almost only anime wallpapers. Hey, i enjoy looking at 980 evangelion wallpapers as much as anybody else, but i am much more a manga fan than a anime fan and would be thankfull to anybody who good give me a tip or two.

I tink you might have a hard time to find Manga wallpapers... And there are some reasons for that:

• On the internet reigns a huge confusion between Manga and Anime...
• And anime gives more, and better quality material for fans to try and make wallpapers with
• I already tryed finding some wallpapers for some less known mangas and it was HARD to find anything at all

Well do you have something particular in mind?

Not really.
Its just that anime pictures are so much more standard, due to coloring and animation issues. Manga pics just have much more individuality. On the downside, they are mostly black and white, which doesn't really distrub me because i don't like my backgraund wallpapers to colorfull.

Take a two page file from a manga you're reading and use that as your wallpaper then.

I have done that a few times. But you can do cool things with mangas and photoshop. Found a bunsch of pretty cool Blame! wallpapers once.

ive also found some good two page spreads from some mangas work good for wallpapers without any work done to them, tho they can be a little rough depending on the scan quality

I have ALOT of anime and manga wallpapers. So i sould be abil to help out with some manga wallpaper, but theres a few little problems i need to get sorted out.

Problem # 1: Is it ok to upload wallpaper to the site that when you dont have the consent of the creator of that wallpaper?
Problem # 2: I need to figure out how to upload the wallpaper with a little preview image with it (i know how to upload a image, but i cant figure out the whole preview thing just yet 😳 ).

After i get those sorted out, i will start uploading as much manga wallpaper that i have and can find 😀 .

WOW. It would seem that i have 356 manga wallpapers. I dont think i'll be abil to upload all that to the site. So i'll see about uploading the folder to one of those host sites (like rapideshare). The folder would be around 90 mb though. Or if you guys want, i can see about uploading some that i think are rather good along with the link to the folder. I need to know if you guys are really intrested though before i go and do all that. (all my hard work of gutting manga wallpaper and you guys will be getting it all nice and easy)

I think i'll see about putting up some links aswell sometime. But for now, i went and uploaded abouch of other wallpapers to my ImageShake account. Today i put up abouch of Trinity Blood and Fullmetal Alchemist ones and i also went and put up afew Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, MARS and some Angel Sanctuary wallapers and a wallpaper that i dont know what the hell its from.
