So I'm working on something new.. Something I doubt any of you will ever see, but all the same I must ask for your help.

What comes to mind when you think of summer? Feel free to repeat anything someone else has said before because it will help me in knowing that more people relate it to summer.

Heat was the first thing that popped into my mind along with other things. I think of summer as a season to be free and do careless things- hanging out with friends, flirting with those summer hotties you may come across, relaxing in the pool, eating tons of cool sweets, or simply being lazy.

Annoying.

I hate the heat
My vacation is not in summer.
I can't sleep when is hot and there is high humidity.
And the chocolates melts hastily...

So when i think of summer "annoying" comes to mind.

As stated before, heat

The sun. Sunglasses. Green plants. Those umbrellas used at cafes and beaches to provide shade. Thunderstorms. The beach. Cold drinks. Swimsuits. Bright colors. Watermelon or oranges or grapefruit.

summer makes me think of: fun, freedom, a melting popsicle or icecream cone, boating, swimsuits, heat (again), barbeque, ribs, watermellon, short-shorts, running, free time, reading.

i don't really like summer during days, thou i love it at night, the stars, the sky is so beautiful, sun going down, moon showing up. thats what keeps me sane during summers 🙂

Time wasted.

longer days (longer daylight -- the sky is dark around 9pm where I live)
sun, search for shade, turning on the a/c
bonfires, beach, sand, water
road trips, camping, hiking
gatorade, ice cream, icicles, iced drinks (iced tea)
barbeques!! lemonade
flip flops, dresses, sunglasses, SUNBLOCK/sunscreen, loud colors
blasting music in the car with the windows rolled down
fruit please (oranges, rambutan, lychee, nectarines, tangelos, pomelos, cantaloupe)

Siestas <3

Time to meet friends and family you usaly dont have time to see.

Travel. Summer job. Memories from past summer holidays. Use spare time to learn something new?

summer is when young people are generally lazy and not doing anything productive. but secretly wishing that some crazy would happen (being sent to some crazy world). or falling in love </3 or you could combine the two into some awesome adventure love story :3 hoped it helped 😀

just living my life like any teenager would, facing the world, dealing with all the things that come at me. im not the special yet not that all normal, just somewhere in the middle ground :3.

Childhood memories, especially playing on the streets late into the evening when the sun has yet to set; lying on the grass; cartwheeling down the hills; daisy chains; festivals; BBQ; riding a bike and feeling the breeze; ice lollies; watermelon; funfairs; songs on the radio; collecting sea shells; seafood at the beach; tombstoning; pressing myself up against the fan or constantly opening the fridge; sleeping with no covers on; waking up to sunlight flooding the room; and that smell (of morning dew, perhaps?).

well obviously (or not since no one else mentioned it) FIREFLIES!!!!!!!! Icecream, figs, cherries, tanning, sun dresses, sandals, pool, beach, humidity, Italy (mostly because my family vacations there every year in August), fireworks, BBQs, bikinis, birds chirping, fairs, parties.... oh! and the meteor shower in August 😀
