So, seeing as I just finished reading Ai Yori Aoshi, I was wondering who everyone else would have picked.

Now, this wasn't your typical harem in that the main guy wasn't an indecisive coward, and that there was really no choice but one for the guy to make. So, what I want to know is which of the women would you have picked? I'm not going to say if you were in Kaoru's shoes, because you can't blame him for falling in love with Aoi (I don't think anyone would have been able to reject her put in that situation).

I liked Tina. I loved her character. She had beauty. She was caring, fun to be around, and she was just a flat out lovable character. Of course, if I was in Kaoru's situation, I don't think I would have been able to choose her, especially when Aoi was so straightforward with her feelings. But if Aoi wasn't in the picture, or if Tina made the first move, Tina would be the perfect choice.

This situation reminds me a little of Ichigo 100% and the situation between Aya and Manaka. The only difference is that I'm not sure how Kaoru and Tina would have worked out if Tina had confessed instead of going on a journey for a year.

myself I would chose Aoi, as she is closest to the type of personality I like the most.

Tina because she is fun to be around and I feel sad for her coz she really loved Kauro but I agree her and Aya's position from ichigo100% are similar as both of them failed to make the first move and so lost the person they loved

i would pick aoi, tina is awesome and i just love her but when it comes to kaoru, i pick aoi. maybe people didnt see aoi suffer as much but its because she have him already b4 tina, but if aoi was never to have waited for him since their childhood years, and never found him and started like him later, she'd be in the same position as tina, and id pity her. the same way i pity tina's character. but if i want to kaoru to be with tina, it'll be cos only of pity and nothing more. since she is my fave.

I would pick Aoi because she put the most effort into getting her love. she didn't just think that Kaoru would fall in love, she worked hard for it. She studied his likes and dislikes just for him but that doesn't mean she totally changed for him. It is not easy to love someone for so long. I love Tina and I think she's awesome but she is a bit of an escapist and a somewhat "my pace" kind of character. When problems seem to start and she can't handle it, she tends to run besides Kaoru needs someone who is understanding and comforting. Aoi faces things head on and is not afraid to admit that she is jealous although she can be a bit too laid back and submissive (there are times I want her to get angry instead of trying to keep it in her heart). In any case, I still prefer Aoi.
