Why doesn't he try writing a manga than doesn't involve baseball? Or soccer. Or high school nostalgia.

Isn't this kind of a stupid question? Adachi's thing is notalgia, and baseball is just his favorite framing mechanism. He does other things occasionally- boxing (Katsu!), swimming (Rough), utterly bizarre scifi/historical drama (Nijiiro Togarashi).... it's just that his thesis never really changes.
Which is fine. If you're trying to tell a story, tell a story that you like.

Asking if my question is stupid is a stupid question. (whoa, see what I did there?!) Adachi takes recycling his story elements to a whole new level. Saying 'he does what he does because that's what he does' doesn't really excuse this fact. lol

It's not an issue of excusing the fact- read your own writing -_-;;. You asked "why doesn't he." The answer is "because he doesn't like to."
You may not like that, but regardless he's pretty inarguably one of the ten most successful mangaka ever (we can talk sales numbers, mainstream appeal, career length, whatever you want), so clearly he's doing something right.
It's just funny, especially considering he has used aliens a couple times.
If you don't like recycled story elements, don't read it? The entire shounen demographic is filled with only a handful of recycled stories anyway. At least Adachi invented his own before reusing them.
