I just wondered, is someone going to take over the project, or can i just forget reading about it....

Cinderella story hasn't said a word about any new release in over 4 months, and they haven't been on their side in that time either, so i think they might be considered inactive (if you can prove otherwise, then i'll change this at once).

So, if they are inactive, is another group going to take over the project or not?

The story is really cute, and the art is wonderfull. It has nice characters and a nice wibe about it, so it would be worth it... Even more reason for me to miss it too..
