There's a scene with a radio and something comes through it so the girl decides to go to the nearest radio tower or something like that.
Setting is definitely post-apocalyptic. Something major had happened to the world, but they didn't seem quite so miserable as would be expected. Something not unlike [m]Yokohama Kaidashi Kiko[/m] in the spirit presented among the characters. Just simply not high-strung or tense or miserable.
