this manga just continues to amaze me. It's grand, its epic, and after all these years, i can still see this manga not ending for another 4 years at least. There is so much depth in the characters and plot, it can almost be mind-boggling trying to predict the future outcome of each and every single character. So glad it started up again, anyone else love the grand feeling of those two-page spreads?

the new chapter doesnt hurt my wow factor. I need to re-read it though. It would probably be the first i re-read from beginning to end.

still awesome, still one of the best mangas out there, but i hope it'll finish during my lifetime XD

my guess would be:

The focus will get back to Guts & co, they probably will not get to Elfheim before a couple of chapters I think...
And my guess for the twist that would be awaiting them there is that Puck is the son of the king lol...
No seriously, I think that we're getting closer to see Caska regain her sanity, but according to what the skull night predicted, we can await an incredible new twist when that happens. Would she join Griffith?!?! That would be incredibly surprising :eek: :eek:

(Oh and of course I'm just saying totally random things and none of this is going to happen, I'm actually not even trying to predict what's going to happen, because I know for sure that Miura is going to surprise us all like he always does!)

Well I didn't search for it either so it's not surprising.
And well it makes sense that the focus stays with Griffith a bit longueur...

We will probably see him hailed as a hero by the forces of Virtanis... (and that would make such a boring chapter after all this wait)
But I really can't wait to see what happens with Guts and the others once they get to Elfheim (if they ever get there that is).
Probably it's Griffith's next target...

I suspect that:

Riding on his glory of defeating the invincible Kushan army, Griffith is going to announce that he's going to marry Queen Charlotte of Midland, who he already has traveling along with his army. As we saw in some previous chapter, he had his people escort the pope to the city, who had had some sort of prophetic dream. Obviously the pope will support Griffith, and they will override all the nobles' grumbling. Even Farneze's dad will be forced to yield to him. Upon his announcement, he will also take overall military command of all the forces gathered against the Kushans, in order to drive them out.

We need to expose Griffith as a back stabbing, evil zombie who slept with the baron for some money.....ewwwww

Hopefully Gandalf will appear soon. 😀

That's more than possible, although I don't see why you think anyone would want to oppose that?

Farneze's dad doesn't probably really care who rules Midland, because he always was the power behind the scene in the vatican, and that shouldn't change much even if Griffith is crowned king of midland right there.
Although he might have some other reasons not to want Griffith as a leader of the allied forces against the Kushan, (But I don't really see what)
Well the popes purpose in coming is probably as you said, to declare the marriage and crown him new king of midland, and probably he is going to give all command of the forces under the vatican to him. (A lot of people might not like that, but after what he just did, they'd have a hard time to argue against that)

Well, to me Farneze's dad seems to be a control freak. And obviously Griffith will not like to be under his control. That would probably lead to conflict and opposition. A highly successful and popular commander/ruler with the backing of the Vatican would probably be a larger threat than anything he's faced so far.

I just started reading this a few days ago. Wow, sums it up fairly well I think. Last night I went to read a few chapters and ended up plowing through 8 volumes; I couldn't put it down and the only reason I stopped when I did was because I ran out, gotta download more now. It's pure awesomeness wrapped in a layer of badassedness and marinated in cool juice.

It's got it all so far, fantastic art, epic battles, great depth in the characters, trust, betrayal, romance and even just the right amount of comic relief. I wish it was finished though, I can tell once I get caught up it's going to suck having to wait for new chapters. I think I'll try to pace myself a little more on it now.
