. Like the topic suggests. Does anyone know any good rock bands with female lead singers. Something like Flyleaf and Evanesence. I listen to the same music and need something new. Any suggestions?

What about Within Temptation? I'd really recommend them, in my opinion some of their songs are great. And maybe Nightwish, but I don't listen to their music, so I'm not very sure about them and can't tell if they're good (but from what I've heard, I think they are similar to the mentioned bands).

Yeah... Within Temptation and Nightwish are good choice! 😛 I second that!

You may also check Delain, In This Moment (but it's rather metal), Lacuna Coil, Tristania (rather gothic metal) and/or We Are the Fallen (founded by former Evanescence members, they only published one single, though... 🙄 )...

I'm more of a 'traditional' metal fan, so I'd suggest:

  • Blackmore's Night (it's folk rock though, but one of my favourite female-lead-vocal bands)
  • Estatic Fear
  • Nightwish with Tarja
  • The Sins of Thy Beloved
  • Sirenia
  • Tristania

If you just need the female vocal (not leading though) then Haggard is really really great.

They're not scream-o... but female rock vocal bands that I like are --

Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Go Karen O!!!
Garbage. Shirley Manson looks good for her age... dang... it's the red hair.
