wow I did not know that they were already working on 4. I really loved 2, it was super long and all but it was great I love RPG's and I cant wait till this comes out 😀

Thats interesting, because I have a Japanese PSP, and honestly, I have been thinking about selling it. Message me if you're serious.

Anyways, in regards to this, I am not sure.

Three kinda disappointed me, and it was a huge step down from Two, I think.

I don't have high hopes for it after Star Ocean 3 so maybe it will surprise me. I think the megaton that is Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII kills just about any other RPG for me with the exception of White Knight Chronicles.

I did love SO2 and I played a lot of SO1 before I lost my save file. Both were great games.

why do you need a japanese psp when the games are all region free?

i remember the good old days when i had just gotten a new playstation and a copy of SO2 (imo one of the best rpgs of all time). that was the first rpg i ever played and ive been playing them since. that being said, ill always have a soft spot for the SO series. SO3 was just okay (longest ending sequence...ever...good story though) so im just gonna hope that they do an even better job on SO4
the story elements of the series are usually superb and i like how they are keeping the same hero+heroine element. they found a good formula with that and the private actions
