Thank goodness for procrastination or I would have missed this chapter 😀
I'm a bit disappointed in Raikage's and Sasuke's fight. I expected more clashing and less help from Suigetsu and Jugo. It's about Sasuke grows some balls and handles his fights without the help of his "comrades" or cursed seal he used to have. Fight man on man! Now Jugo is going to fight...sighs...I'm no interested in Jugo vs Raikage. I wanted epic pwnage! I wanted Raikage to kick Sasuke's butt!
Gaara..well he's always cool no matter what. 😀 Danzo is a scheming old guy...and no Naruto babbling nonsense in this chapter. That's new lol

I agree. What a slow start to the fight; I was hoping for a bit more action and creativity. Hopefully it'll get more exciting and not continue to drag on.
So Danzou wants unity by force and damn the consequences and Gaara is preaching unity in trust and honor. Let's guess how that'll turn out...

I wanted to see how much Sasuke's powers have "grown" compared to Naruto's. But well, it was cut short by his comrades.
Maybe Kishimoto is saving it for a fight w/ Naruto?
And just how many chapters will that be? 🙁
And I'm not interested in the fight between Raikage and Jugo. =\

I don't usually like how Kishimoto draws his action scenes (in general, I think they lack a real feeling of movement and are often confusing as to what they characters are actually doing), but the first couple of pages, art-wise, were pretty good, and then he seemed to have exhausted himself ...and went back to the talking. And speaking of, I don't get it: the kages are being attacked, Akatsuki has shown up, and yet they're all sitting around making fun of Gaara's age. WTF. You'd think they'd be going for cover or something! (I LOLed at that one idiot who wanted to go watch Sasuke's fight like it was a tennis match or something.)
Oh well. Looks like what Danzo really wants Sasuke for is the sharingan. No surprises there. I guess the guy is looking to get a matching set of eyeballs. 😛

I like the more recent chapters better than some of the older drawn out battles (but that is to be expected since we just finished one arc and started a new one)...
Though to be perfectly honest, I have to say the best thing about the past couple of chapters (to me anyway) has been Gaara. ;D this chapter he esp. has shown great (oral, anyway) skills and integrity (not going to say anything more and spoil it more--or at least more specficaly). Meh. I don't particularly like any of the other council members--it's not that I dislike them (well, I do hate Danzo), but that I can't see anything for me to like...
While getting the akatsuki background previously was interesting and I liked that Gaara actually said something (& something worthwhile against Danzo), I'm just waiting for Naruto to show up--if only for Danzo & Co. to realize that they don't have control over the ninetails (& can't use him so easily according to plan). And it'll be interesting for them to realize just who (or should I say what--emphasis on ninetails stasis only because that is what matter to the council here ) who was asking Sasuke's forgiveness. And the Sasuke-Naruto confrontation will probably be good...
I guess the fight's just starting, but I didn't find it all that exciting (granted there was a good chunk of conversation)...it was probably better than some previous fights, but Raikage just annoys me and I would have expected more out of Sasuke's group (even if they did lose the element of surprise)...And looking at all those other Hokkages and Jounins, Ihave to wonder how well thought out this plan was (granted there were unforeseen circumstances and Danzo is the main target)...On the other hand, the council is also disappointing and while I can understand their distrust, standing around arguing with old grudges and prejudices (and power lust) doesn't really do much either...
Yep, have to say that Gaara was the best part of the chapter for me at least...

Actually, Sasuke's teammates always come in to help him without him even wanting them to help.

it was a "ok" chapter....its not somethin to mention lol.
so the fight....sasuke will win wit his super powerful eyes and his super powerful gayness will be too much for Raikage... 🤣 ...its sad but true. than naruto will cry and talk and cry some more...and than he will confront sasuke and start cryin and become really "touchy"...and start catching feeling...well thts wat i believe will happen in the next few chapters...and i believe some of u believe tht too
