You haven't met the right girls. I knew a girl who used to jump kids for fun in JHS. She even punched out a security guard during a fight. Of course she was an exception. Not every girl weighs a hundred and seventy pounds in junior high after all.

exactly......i've seen girls square up with guys, and vice versa....don't think just because you haven't met them that they're not out there......and dont think just because you're a guy that they aren't girls out there who can easily beat you.....and dont think they're arent girls out there who carry knives....well actually i've never known anyone who cares a knife thats a girl either.....but razors?, plenty of 'em in highschool did....but back to what i was sayin, all that "if this happens i would...." bullshit goes out the window if you get a girl in front you who can fight better then you can (or atleast as good), and really wants to do you harm or even the worse.........so yeah, i'd say you gotta be pretty naive to believe that you'd "NEVER" hit a women.....especially when you consider the worst case scenario's of you losing your life, or someone close to you losing they're life......either that or you don't give 2shits about whether you live or die.....but yeah, not trying to come at anyone with this, but you just cant assume that they aren't women out there that aren't as dangerous as some of the men, or even more for that matter......not everyone is all smiles and handshakes, you feel me?

2. I know/have known many a girl that carry knives and guns for that matter, and girls who could physically beat many people in a fist fight. They still call their brothers/boyfriends to handle men who they need taken care of.

My point is this. The chances that any man will be in a situation to strike a woman in self defense is so small that it's almost negligible. Women, for the vast majority, are not like that. Uncheckable, unyielding aggression is largely a male trait.

Furthermore, when addressing the subject of striking a woman, I'd naturally assume that it would be out of anger, and not a reactionary measure to a threat of bodily harm. Most reasonable people, I'd think, would also make such an assumption.

thats the first thing he said, it's not about women beating, has nothing to do with anger......but i agree, the chances are small that something like that would happen, but then again....thats the point of this whole thread, so reason, logic, and calculating the possibility of this to actually happen all went out the window when you came into this thread to begin with......of course I know that i'm probably not going to ever get into the situation where i have to hit a girl or chose to hit a girl (as does everyone else who answered yes on the poll)..... but the fact remains (and the question of this whole thread), that in a life or death situation or not even that.....maybe just a conscious or unconscious situation, or it could just be a matter of getting yo ass whooped if you dont hit the girl who's trying to hurt you........but yeah, anyone with common sense or half a shred of decency knows that they'd chose another option if at all possible, but if those possibliltlys aren't there or they aren't enough to end the conflict then yes, your life or theirs, or your safety over theirs..........
