As a female, I wouldn't hesitate to hit a girl unless the other girl is weaker than me (which is...let's say very improbable). And I only ever fought in self-defense soo~...

If I were a male I would consider it okay only if
A. She's a mad chick with a knife or something similar ready to leave you impotent or dead, or any other case of self-defense. In this case, either get her immobilized or kick her only to get her unconscious. It's common sense after all.
B. If you catch her in the act cheating by her own free will or anything else equally worse. Then yes, kick some living daylights out of her, but still not too much.
Anything else= NO.

Why would I want to hit anyone if I'm not in a fight? If I were in one, I'd avoid hitting as much as possible and just disable the opponent. However, if it comes to fists, man or woman, you're going down.

Hitting anyone is never alright. There may be times when you need to, there's no doubting that, but it doesn't mean it is alright.

The idolization of women is falling short with the new age progressing, but as was said before, even half-hearted punches can cause damage to their skeletal frame or to their internal organs. It is a simple fundamental difference. I would suggest that if you ever get into a fight with a woman (if you're a man, primarily,) use grappling or wrestling techniques to subdue the opponent. This way of approaching a possibly nasty situation will help in front of the judge and you avoid actually hitting someone.

Fights prove nothing in this day-an'-age except that your prone to violent outbreaks (which police love by the way). If someone really needed to settle a dispute, they'd use a gun, then it doesn't matter how much tuff' stuff their adversary is made of.

I think this thread is a little ridicolous (sorry no offense meant).

Animals use violence against animals of same specie only to "conquer" a female. I could be wrong but I can't think of a male animal to use violence against a female (except for reproduction motives). So I can't think of a reason why people should do it, the only exception is for auto-defense if someone is so dumb to start.

Personally, the only situation I've ever hit someone is during soccer match, and only for auto-defense during a fight. We don't play against girls, so I don't think I'll never hit a girl.

For self defense or defending someone else, I'll defend myself or another person against anyone regardless of gender. My personal concern for my own safety or the safety of some person takes priority over whether an assailant is male or female. That being said, if an assailant was a guy I wouldn't hesitate to defend myself or another person. But if the assailant was a girl, I'd probably hesitate since I was raised with the unwritten rule that guys shouldn't hit girls.

But straight up knocking a girl out because she pissed me off is generally a no-no 😔 . For one thing, it takes a lot to bring me to a point where I feel the need to use violence. Also, going on in the back of my mind would be the thought that the act of hitting a girl would tend to portray me as the "villain," due to the general perception of girls being physically weaker than guys and thus making me nothing more than a bully.

I would never strike a female. There are other ways to handle a violent female, like various holds and locks, that are far more effective.

I guess, it's okay because there are girls who say that they want fairness so if it's okay to strike a guy then i guess it's ok to strike a girl but i must say that a girl is physically weaker than a guy so to be strong as a guy they need to work hard. So a guy wants to strike a girl, please don't do it too harsh. haha. fyi, i'm a girl, that's just my opinion.

guys, guys, come on, punching a skinny woman isn't going to damage her any more than a skinny guy, if we were really that delicate you'd get twice as many females breaking bones in accidents etc than males.. punching a girl who does sport or martial arts or got a bit or muscle is going to cause even less damage. Especially between the legs.... Haven't been in a fight since I was about 12 when girls and boys are pretty evenly matched, but a couple of guys I know who are quite skinny are about the same strength as me (and Im 5'2 and not built that big).. I know from like lifting boxes moving house, climbing over walls etc, dont ask!) I am also in a band with 3 guys and 2 girls, and the strongest person in the band is a girl..

I mean if you take a guy and a girl who are both ridiculously fit and healthy then obviously the guy would be stronger, but that's not the average bored person on a train who spends all day sitting down or whatever. You can't judge by appearences these days.

I voted for 'if she started it' because anyone regardless of gender should accept the consequences if they'r stupid enough get violent on someone else. Starting it only counts as violence btw, mouthing off and getting in peoples faces like the girl on the train does not count as violence (Had to watch it with the sound off cos Im at work, so I dont know how offensive she was getting but the most she did physically was wave her arms around a lot). The old lady blatantly knew she was all talk and ignored her so she got bored and went and had a go at the other people who gave her more attention. If she'd hit the old lady then of course she deserved someone to punch her lights out. Not getting into mental illness discussions here tho..

If someones got a knife or gun I'd prefer to run the fuck away, but if you think you can stop them shooting you by punching them then go ahead...

And the person who thinks female bodybuilders do not class as women is clearly feeling threatened, they do not look any more freaky than male bodybuilders, who are all growing tits anyway because their bodies start making oestrogen because of the steroids, get a life 🙂
