If men and women are to be equals, then they may be hit. Of course, wife-beating and abuse is out of the question, but a punch here and there is all right if there really is a fight. Just look at all the stories about fighting girls these days! Females are not delicate like people once thought they were. Individuals may be delicate and fragile, but not the gender as a whole. But if it's okay to hit a male, then why not a female too?

if it's like jokingly sure it's alrite as long as da girl isnt really hurt n noe it's a joke but in ma opinion i still think that guys that hit girls are jerks b/c some girls arent as strong as guys and those guys should pick on someone their own size and gender

If the girl is bullyng you for a long time( i say a real bullying to the point of social trauma)
Or start to hit you hard (and hurt) and frequently. Its acceptable.
If a girl starts to use strenght to pick on people, she has to accept that independently of gender she opens a door to the same treatment.
if you don't have strenght, don't be a bully, don't make people's life miserable, because bad people are prone to have different treatment from the society.

Only time thats EVER acceptable with me is if she's got a knife, gun, etc. And even then only as a last resort. If girls are bullying/beating on someone, I'd stop them without using violence. Even if a girl walked up up to me and hit me in the face I wouldn't hit her back. I've intervened in enough fights to be able to take quite a bit of pain, and hitting a girl is about the lowest thing you could do in my book.

Doesn't matter. A Person is a person, doesn't matter what sex they are.

Common sense just isn't that common

To those that say no, if a female is hitting you, are you just going to sit there and get the crap beat out of you? If so, you got issues. If a female comes at me with violence, she obviously thinks she is my equal or my better, and if that is the case then there is no reason to not hit her. Have I ever hit a female? No, and I hope I never have to, but just cause of a gender, that isn't about to stop me from making someone think twice before the next time they decide to act up. The two imes I have been stabbed were from females (that I didn't even know), Now in those cases I would of hit them, but subduing them in a way that dislocates their shoulder worked better. Thank god for military and martial arts training, I would of been seriously hurt. Females can be dangerous, judging someone as weaker then you because they are a female can and has gotten people killed.

i wouldnt hit her if she started it, id just pin her or put her in an arm lock so that she wont be harmed and neither would i. there are other ways to deal with the girl if she started it, it doesn't necessarily have to be that u have to hit her back.

nothing like a good ol' slap across the face to put a person straight, male or female. It makes them think twice about doing it again. If you're going to divide people by gender, go all the way and divide them by personality. If they are willing to step up to the plate, they know they're going to get hit.

I myself never hit a girl, but then again i rarely fight. I also live in an area more civilized, so there aren't many fights to begin with, but with adrenaline pumping, face sore from a slap, and head a bit disoriented, my mind isn't going "don't hit her, she's a woman". It's going "take her down in one hit".

Call me old fashioned, but I think that there are inherent differences in the male/female physique.

Has to do with hormones. A full grown man will have more natural strength than an adolescent male. The curve is less for a full grown woman. One who is more physically strong should not strike one who is less strong.

I will NEVER strike a female. If a female gets violent with me, I will either remove myself from the situation or restrain her in some way.

Im a girl myself, and I totally agree. If anyone gets in yoru face girl or boy and threathens to hit you, you have every single right to hit them right back. They take initative to go start a fight that boy's can't hit girls bull crap doesn't work. I've hit a bunch of guys and never had issues with being hit back because sex doesn't matter in a fight. Only thing that matters is my fist in that persons face.

I don't use "bad" words, I use SENTENCE ENHANCERS.

If somebody is significantly weaker than me I can easily make them stop attacking me just by blocking their attacks most of the time. When you use the trained bone of your arm to block an attack it can really hurt the attacker.

That way also makes it look like you're not attacking at all, even though you're doing damage and inflicting pain, from the outside it just looks like you're defensively dodging and blocking.

If somebody is closer to my level I don't hold back. If I feel I'm fighting a trained woman or a woman who's too quick for me to block with certainty I'll fight her for real.

Basically if I think my opponent has a chance of harming me I'll fight back full force regardless of gender.
