Now that I spend time babysitting my niece, she likes to watch the old Disney movies on VHS. One of our favorites to watch together is Alice and Wonderland. You never realize how funny the classics are until later.

In no particular order:

  1. Mulan
  2. Lion King
  3. Tarzan
  4. Pocahontas
  5. Monsters Inc.

I enjoy watching Disney/Pixar movies. I kind of like them all. I can't think of one that I don't like.

Hm, good qustion. I'll go with:

The Rescuers
Robin Hood
AristoCats
The Black Cauldron
Pete's Dragon

When it comes to cartoon movies there are other's I like more though, notably many of the Don Bluth ones.

Hmm.
Hard to pick a favourite but if I had to I'd say Mulan or The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
As a bonus both have great soundtracks too. 🙂

EDIT: Also love The Emperor's New Groove because it's so different from regular Disney classics.
Also in my opinion Atlantis: The Lost Empire is too underrated.

Great Non Disney Animated Movies:
Anastasia
The Prince of Egypt

A Goofy Movie

I'm not even joking. The main theme is the best out of any Disney movie. In other animated Disneys we have love story, love story or love story to choose from, just those three. In this one we have a surprisingly mature story about inevitable changes in a parent-child relationship as the latter grows to have a life of their own. Sure, it's Goofy, but they made it incredibly touching despite the silliness and slapstick (which can be hilarious when you're in the right mood anyway) being there as well. I adore this movie and cry every time. Watching a freakin' Goofy Movie.

If you haven't seen it yet, do. It's not as epic or huge as other Disney classics, but the emotional value alone is definitely worth your time. And if you have a young sibling slash kid, they will most likely enjoy it as well, even if mostly for the humor. Strongly recommending!

Excluding Pixar: Aladdin
Including Pixar: Monsters Inc.

Off topic: I try to turn a blind eye when it comes to some of the large sigs around here, but the first poster on this page is just taking the piss.
