Well, it's that time of year again when you're likely to find people running out of their rooms naked and screaming while pulling out their hair... or maybe just staring at their last test crying.

So, I'd like to have some songs that will melt my brain, because I don't really know any.

Now, I don't actually know how to describe what I want as I have no musical background. So, the closest to what I'd like is Twisted Transistor with the bass increased, Sarah's trance like quality, and I'd guess the first part of For Whom the Bell Tolls but a little faster and maybe lower in tone as well; however, this is probably not the best examples, but it's all I can do right now.

Of course, if it can do the job... I guess it does not matter if it's got that or not.

I should probably add that high pitched vocals like Judas Priest tend to make me alert rather than stupefied.

Maybe you can check out the metal and rock threads in the music section. Lots of stuff recommended by people.

The song that made my brain melt was Free Will Sacrifice by Amon Amarth.

I also liked Hall of the mountain king by Savatage

I doubt it works the same for everyone, but I reach a point of equilibrium, my spine relaxes and I can breathe, when I listen to Anaal Nathrakh... Moves like black metal, hits like industrial... relaxing.

Always there when you need a melted brain state of mind.

I say a lot of Slipknot songs might fit this criteria.

I agree with whoever said System of a Down as well. Some of their stuff indeed melts my brain 🤣

I like this song as well. It has the bass. Although perhaps not as "brain melting".
I might as well add this one as well. By the same band. Again, not as much, but it does it for me XD
