I love Bitter Virgin, it's by one of my favorite mangakas. Though I wish she would finish off Girl Saurus Dx - She is busy with GSD that Bitter Virgin takes a back seat and only is released infrequently.

Yuu Watase's stories has dashed my hopes too many times, it's almost enough to make me lose hope in good shoujo. I honestly think she comes up with unique ideas that could be fun and interesting, BUT she almost ** ALWAYS ** destroys a story by:

1. Having everyone chasing the female lead (almost everyone)
2. A crazy sister/best friend who the protagonist must convince to stop being crazy.
3. Everyone chasing the main guy.
4. Unsubstantiated unrealistic triangles * triangles emotional crap.
5. Exes that DON'T know how to let go.
6. Dragging the series by either adding stupid "conflicts" and "idiotic arguments"

I could go on, but I must go to my happy place.

I lost hope in manga and anime for a while when almost everything that came out was "Harem" anime/manga by both gender. Ugh, it's annoying, the females are annoying, the males are annoying. Please give me some plot. I have said it once, and I will say it again, for every harem manga/anime a good brain cell dies.

I've tried to several Yuu Watase stories, but I've never been able to finish them. Besides the traits Totochan has listed, I find that Yuu Watase has the weirdest sense of humor. Not that they might not be funny to some, but I find that she places her gags at the most inappropriate moments for scenes that would have at least showed some depth from her.

They're so out of the blue sometimes that rather than laughing I've more than once uttered, "WTF?" instead.

I think Oh Great should stick to being an artist and have someone write the story for him. There are times that I appreciate his crass sense of humor, but it gets old fast.

But the manga that always gets on my nerve are smut. Who falls inlove with a guy that almost rapes you? Argh!

Harem series too, is it popular because it's every guys dream to be surrounded by hot girls that are way beyond his league?
