I'm looking for someone with a scanner and a bit of time. Who wants to give back to the manga community. I would love to get a dedicated scanner for my group Deadbeat-Scans.

Relying on web raws not only limits what series we can do but it also affects the quality of our end product. We could make series like Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru look so much better just by having self scanned raws.

Sadly, my proper scanner is no longer functioning there is an All in one (printer, copier & scanner) I could use, but, after much experimenting it was not working well. It took far too long to make each page scan in semi-okayish (which is not good enough). I'm sure you would agree that my time in photoshop would be better spent cleaning, typesetting or qcing more chapters for release and I really do not have the money needed to buy a decent scanner.

So the proposal is something like this, at the moment I have in my possesion tanks that need to be scanned in for editing. I will send said tanks to you (if you don't want to give me your address I'll send it to a P.O Box or post office for you to collect from). For any future volumes that need scanning in I'll pay for the purchase and postage costs.

Of course I'm not going to just spend money sending volumes I paid for to the first person who says I can scan in teh mangas! But, we can iron out all of those details.
