Hey,

I've been here without creating an account for too long.

I'm looking for a romance.
These are things that I really want from it:

- No possessive lover, be it male or female. [Can't stand them]
- No Ecchi / Smut [Unless integral to the story not just fanservice]
- No Action / Adventure
- No Yaoi / Shounen-ai [Never got into it.]
- Characters have to be of a similar age. [If adult, both adults. If teenagers, both teenagers]
- The less love triangles / polygons the better. [I don't want them to throw one rival after another, especially if they main couple already got together. You are just making the story worse by making a character doubt the feelings that they spent a lot of time working out. It just gives me the netorare vibes, I hate it] [Sorry about that.]

Now here are some things that I would like but can live without.

- More slice of life, less drama [Love sweet stories, can't help it]
- No love at first sight [At least give them some time to know each other, geez]
- No promised love, childhood friend came back, etc.
- Going from the one above, no childhood friend, unless they're not the love interest. [They had so much time to confess already...]
- At least one volume long. [Short stories leave you wanting more some times.]
- No falling in love with super popular character. [I mean if the character is popular with the rest of the class or environment they're in, that's alright. What I mean is don't make them popular with the entire school or something like that.]
- To sum it up: The less clichés the better.

I guess that that's it.
Can't really give you a list of things that I already read, forgot many of them and can't really recall most of what I'm reading right now.
Sorry for all the rambling and for being picky.
I really hope that I can find something new to read.

Hmm...maybe these are the kinds of manga you're looking for. Not sure if you were looking for more shoujo/josei or shounen/seinen.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun <- there is a love triangle, but it's not one that really gets in the way of the main romance or the story.

How about:
Ore Monogatari!! - There is love-at-first-sight but other than that the manga is pretty atypical for a shoujo.
Koe no Katachi - No romance yet. But it looks like something between the main leads will start soon.

Koe no Katachi is Amazing, I found it when it was on CH. 3 can't wait until there are more releases. ^^

maybe Emma (also from the same writer)
or Nodame Cantabile (well he is somewhat popular)

i also want to suggest stuff like Ah! My Goddess but i'm not sure if it's what you wanted.

Otoyomegatari doesn't only focus on them though. There's the arc with the twins. The kid's mature for his age, at least more so than I was at that age
