It was a romance manga however I read it a long time ago and only remember: The male's mother was sick with some condition (not life threatening) but can't play the piano very well anymore however she had a favourite song which the girl (main character) can play. They eventually both (boy's mother and girl) play the piano together making the mother more 'alive'. ? ? ? ?
