You're not having a blond moment, believe me. It's because of the fact that they're hyping up America as another team that's so perfect, and so impossible to beat, and how they keep hammering in the fact that everyone on the American team is so genetically superior to everyone on the Japanese team (Especially black people, who apparently are stronger than any other race the moment they're born 🙄 )

If the America team is supposed to be much more advanced in terms of physical ability to the Japanese team, then America should win this by a landslide. But they won't, because all this hyping up is just a ploy for the Japanese team to beat the American team and show that America isn't so invincible after all. If you replaced Team America with Shinryuuji, Ojo, or Teikoku, and replaced Team Japan with Deimon, then you can clearly see that Inagaki is just reusing the same underdog situation that he's been using for almost all of the matches in the Christmas Bowl tournament.

Its obvious they will win. But I don't even care. I want to see how, I want to see the sad moments, I want to see the happy moments, even if we know they will win, its still 'thrilling' to watch, and enjoyable.

But that's just how sports Mangas work...If the team loses then the mangaka is criticized... anyways it would be nice if they lose...
Btw, "black people" are actually more fit for many sports due to genetics, they are more flexible, have more stamina, and stuff...

Well that's bad writing. They don't have to build up teams as "Jesus hand picked these people to make a team! There's no way they could lose!" It makes it too obvious that they're gonna lose.

But they speak about the difference in potential you can't achieve the same physical capabilities of another ethno/geno/fenotype... It's not that they are born "uber" strong but their bodies have more aptitude

thanks for clearifying that 🤣 and you are SO right. they have been the underdogs all along, and i guess it would be weird reading about them actually being the favorites. i guess i just have to look forward to some amazing hiruma moments 🤣 and i guess sena will figure out some amazing way of running even faster than panther. and the last 30 seconds of the game will last 10+ ch. so yeah the same thing all over again 😛
