Lot of people are complaining how long the cut scenes are. That didn't bother me a bit. I was so excited and wrapped up in the game and the story the 30 min scenes didn't phase me. Loved the game. Imo, best game out. Going through it on the extreme difficulty now. That is a bitch. Also, the video at the end of Act 3 was just amazing. Play the game if you haven't. Worth getting a PS3 for.

Yes that truly was epic...

And this is a SERIOUS SPOILER.
You've been warned... >:-(

You're talking about when Liquid gets total control and kills everyone with just his fingers?! BANG BANG!!! That part was beautiful. But my favorite part of all time is the fight between Liquid and Solid at the end. Words can't describe how amazed i was with that fight. If I had emotions I'm pretty sure I would've cried then..

OOO! and tell me Raiden wasn't a beast?!?!

Yes, the little kid in me is doing backflips!

I know what you mean. That part was truly amazing as well. I almost cried during the ending scenes.

I really liked it during the fight between him and liquid where it was a vid, and they both drop an syringe and inject each other with it. That was cool. Also, during the part where yu had to go through the microwave hall, I was literally jumping up and down slamming the triangle button to get him to move.

I started playing MG when the original demo disc of the PS1 came with the system...a few years later I rented Twin Snakes for the gamecube and liked the game immediately, so far I have played Solid 1(Twin Snakes),2,3, and Acid 1. I'm still working on Acid 2, want Portable Ops bad, almost done with the Game Boy one, and I'm looking for an MSX2 emulator because I heard the NES remake of the first Metal Gear was edited. I mean, you really gotta pay attention to everything that is said in the series and how comparable it is in real life. Just simply wow, can't wait till the price of the PS3 and MGS4 drop...I want the game bad... 🤣 >:-(

You could always just rent the game...that is if it isn't completelly rented out. I went to a Hollywood Video the other dy and saw like 5 on the shelf but it could be different where you live.

LOL! I forgot how tough that part was. I was sure I was gonna die!

It's funny you should say that, cause in MGS4 they hinted about how anyone could pick up a game and get real time combat training basics and experience. They were showing screenshots from of COD4 as they were saying this.

As cool as Twin Snakes was, I wish they didn't change some of the voices. Especially Gray Fox and Psyco Mantis. And Liquid looked funny imo. Just something about it.

Edit: Anyone else get the MGS Database off the PSN? It has everything you want t know about Metal Gear. From the original to MGS4. If your confused or don't know the story, it helps.

Aaah! I should be done with this game by now, but my PS3 broke in the middle of either the second or third boss fight. I'm dying to know how it ends, but I refuse to look at spoilers till I beat it myself. (Thank god I still have warranty)

I know what you mean. At the Gamestop I visit I'm always debating with the "non-believers" of the awesomeness that are the cut-scenes in MGS4. I mean, it was part of the experience... hell, I sat there with a bowl of beef noodles and just watched it.

Though my favorite scene throughout the entire thing still has to be...

... when Raiden started breakdancing in the middle of the street against the two Gekko's. Holy shit, that was amazing.

... that and the scene of Otakon and Naomi back in Act II where you know Otakon totally got some action? That was hilarious.

... Incidentally enough, you can also get a little psychological training from it as well.

That's why Raiden is such a beast. I just read yesterday that MGS4 isn't the last game that they'll make. its the Last CHAPTER, but they can still throw in how

Raiden became a cyborg, and more about the vague history of Big Boss, or remake the first two Metal Gear Solids' that were for NES, that cover the story of when Solid Snake destroyed the first two Metal Gears before Shadow Moses.

lol yeah, I remember the history behind that.

... and yeah, they are making more MGS in terms of the series, but I heard that Hideo Kojima isn't going to be directing them.
