I wonder if there are any Japanese people in this forum

I would like to ask a few questions regarding the culture, school system, and some places, that I would like to know (is data, data)... well I could just use google, but I prefer to ask real people, is just one of my traits

I wonder if it is redundant to use "Japanese people" since "Japanese" implies either the people of Japan or the language.
