I'm pretty sure Bara is almost entirely meant for gay readers, but I am sure women read it as well, while Yaoi is mostly meant for women. (so I conclude from this- I doubt straight men are reading Bara, but more likely if at all to read BL to a limit.)

But, I chose gay.

If it's any help, I did know a straight guy, with a girlfriend, who read Gravitation... 😕
