It was f*** up. It would have been great to see a side story of the psycho (her beginnings). I mean she "targets" brothers and kill off the sisters and take their place. It seems she was born that way (a devil incarnate) since she was at the hospital when she was around 7, but had already committed the crime. By the end of the story, she had impersonated three sisters (of older brother/doctor/brother), but she might had done more before that.
Crazy story...

I just finished reading it and it was fucked up. It was a good kind of fucked up, but it was still fucked up.
The most fucked up part was near the end when you find out that she puts the remains of her victims in that stuffed rabbit of hers and names it after the person she stuffs it with.
I somewhat agree with you about having a side story to show her origins, but when you think about it it's actually better if we don't know. That certain fear of not knowing actually adds to the scariness of the story because it makes you wonder exactly how the hell someone could get like that. Plus, the way she was clinging on the ceiling like that kinda gives you a clue that she may not be human...

The cool part is that I never get tired of being deceived

Just because someone's head was chopped off doesn't mean they're dead. That's just silly.

I adored the ending. This is the type of horror I want. The more screwed up, the better.

I just finished this manga and I´m soooo confused, the whole story was building up with a clear plot, we got to know the story of Remina and when we were thinking we know everything the schocker came in the last chapter.
So in the last chapter the main character Kazuki states that the lolita girl isn´t Remina, but somebody else. So I was thinking, is she even human? I don´t think so. Maybe she´s an evil spirit or a ghost. I think the plot is a circle that always repeats itself. When Kazuki died, in the news they acused him as the murderer of the whole family (and friends) and that he was abusing his little sister Hikaru. It´s the same way how Remina´s brother was acused. So I think the Lolita always spots out a boy, becomes obsessed with him, takes up the identity of the boy´s sister and murders him and his family when she´s not satisfied. And of course the big brother takes the blame in the end. It happened a few times before, maybe Remina´s family wasn´t the first one.
But what still botheres me is the fact, that the corpses of the little sisters weren´t found. What happened with the bodies of Hikaru or the real Remina? We know that they went missing before the family was murdered.
And another thing. I think the police found the Lolita in the Kanbe house after the murder and they tought that she is Remina and took her to the clinic. As she described how she was abused, that´s exactly what she did with the brother. But why was the Lolita acting like the abused little sister in the hospital? Was that an act to lure in the next victim (the doctor)? And we know that she filles up the stuffed animal with the victim´s parts and called the toy after them. The last one was the doctor because the toy was called Keiichi.
So basicly this is my theory. I hope I didn´t left out anything. I know this is old news and this topic wasn´t active for a while, but the manga is new to me and I hope I can hear what you think about it. And sorry, my english isn´t perfect.
