Today most couples and people in love are thinking of today as Valentines day, but today is also Singles Awareness day and Forever Alone day, which are both way more depressing.
Singles Awareness day - a day to look at all the happy couples/ people in love and wish you had a partner/ feel disgusted/ not care about them.
Forever Alone day - a day dedicated to depressing thoughts of how you will probobly never get married, or get a serious partner. The people who don't want to get married celebrate this by doing repulsive things that people would never do in front of their partner. Also celebrated by people who recently got dumped.
Valentines day - a day of love and celebration. a day for people in love to give chocolate and a day of lovey dovey couple stuff. a day for guys and girls to wait to see if they have anyone likes them.
Just wanted to know, are you celebrating Singles Awareness day, Valentines day, Forever Alone day, watching from the sidelines, or something else? 😀

I'm spending it with people I don't really want to spend time with. Not that I don't like them, but I'd just rather be doing homework or heck, watching TV, by myself then spend it with them. =\

We don't have Valentine's day here in brazil, so I am having a normal day ( I only discovered what Valentine's day was today)

I'm just treating it like any other day. I do admit I like the stuff I got though. 🤣

The day holds no special meaning to me. It's just like the days before and the days after it.

I don't do anything different than what I normally do on an insignificant day.

I was reading manga and decided to go out and go to the nearest mall. It didn't last an hour though since the place was crawling with lovey-dovey couples. It made me realize how lonely I was. It was a SAD (Single Awareness Day) time for me. It didn't help to be home alone. So I ended up cooking for myself, no one else to talk to, and opened the tv to look for refuge 😀

Another day of the year... day.
Another routine day of my life.
I have school today and tomorrow. Not like there's much I can do.
I don't care for Valentine's Day anyway. 😐

Only middle and high schooler celebrate Valentine's Day here in my place.

I spent it like any other school day, but my evening class has less than half of the students actually there because of valentine's day I presume.

It was defiently a singles awarness day. I wore black today, while 95 percent of the school - including the teachers- wore pink,red, or white. I looked like a fish out of water, when I walked around school today. Everyone walked around with flowers and chocolates. I carried my books. They talked about relationships at lunch. I talked about the burnt popcorn chicken on my plate. But, when us singles came together after school, I felt okay. I still dislike valentine day, but it's not that bad. 😐

After having spent my first Valentine's Day with an actual Valentine, I realize that V-Day is really no big deal. It's an overly-commercialized halmark holiday that gets you to buy stuff for your significant other. So don't feel lonely this day because you're single. If you're simply spending the day with people you love and who appreciate you, you need not feel any sadness.

WELL.
I spent 2 hours in the animal shelter looking for a dog that doesn't even belong to me. She belongs to my friend but her family doesn't give a damn and I couldn't just leave it at that. She's 5 months old, medium sized dog, and today I have failed her. I couldn't get her out because of the bitches there. I'm not giving up.
