Breathe- Pink floyd
"Run, rabbit run
Dig that hole, forget the sun
And when at last the work is done
Don't sit down it's time to dig another one"

I have forgiven jesus- Morrissey
"Monday - humiliation
Tuesday - suffocation
Wendesday - condescension
Thursday - is pathetic
by Friday - life has killed me
by Friday - life has killed me
Ooh, pretty world"

"Save Your Scissors" by City and Colour:
It just makes me think of when a certain person I despised finally lost the ability to bother me.

Just save your scissors
For someone else's skin
My surface is so tough
I don't think the blade will dig in
Save your strength
Save your wasted time
There's no way that I want you to be left behind...

"Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls:
It's my song for when I'm feeling emo.

And I'd give up forever to touch you
'Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now

And all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
'Cause sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight

And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah you bleed just to know you're alive

"Vois sur ton Chemin" from the movie Les Choristes:
I'm too lazy to translate them, they're in French...but they're all inspirational...and inspirationally.

The Candy Mountain Song from Charlie the Unicorn Goes to Candy Mountain:
It's just funny and cheers me up every time.

My two cents: Marillion, Script for a Jester's Tear

So here I am once more in the playground of the broken hearts
One more experience, one more entry in a diary, self-penned
Yet another emotional suicide overdosed on sentiment and pride
Too late to say I love you, too late to re-stage the play
Abandoning the relics in my playground of yesterday

I'm losing on the swings, I'm losing on the roundabouts
I'm losing on the swings, I'm losing on the roundabouts
Too much, too soon, too far to go, too late to play, the game is over
The game is over

So here I am once more in the playground of the broken heart
I'm losing on the swings, losing on the roundabouts, the game is over, over
Yet another emotional suicide overdosed on sentiment and pride
I'm losing on the swings, losing on the roundabouts, the game is over
Too late to say I love you, too late to re-stage the play
The game is over

I act the role in classic style of a martyr carved with twisted smile
To bleed the lyric for this song to write the rites to right my wrongs
An epitaph to a broken dream to exorcise this silent scream
A scream that's borne from sorrow

I never did write that love song, the words just never seemed to flow
Now sad in reflection did I gaze through perfection
And examine the shadows on the other side of the morning
And examine the shadows on the other side of mourning
Promised wedding now a wake

The fool escaped from paradise will look over his shoulder and cry
Sit and chew on daffodils and struggle to answer why?
As you grow up and leave the playground
Where you kissed your prince and found your frog
Remember the jester that showed you tears, the script for tears

So I'll hold our peace forever when you wear your bridal gown
In the silence of my shame the mute that sang the sirens' song
Has gone solo in the game, I've gone solo in the game
But the game is over
Can you still say you love me

I have many others, but the lyrics of this one still got the blues with me.

Seriously, John Lee Hooker's I Deserve To Suffer, I Deserve to Be Alone is the most powerful song that I have ever heard

Yeah, that one. And I have that on one of my JLH albums, too.

How bout... I Cry Alone by The Black Keys?

My Girl, my girl, had a hold on me
So Tight, SO tight, that I could not breath
My, She had a hold on me
She held me so tight, that I could not breathe
My Girl, my girl, she had a hold on me

Oh, simple and powerful [thumbs up]

I like this one (shhhh, it is from an anime though)

I walk ten thousand miles,
ten thousand miles, to see you
And every gasp of breath,
I grabbed it just to find you
I climbed up every hill to get to you
I wandered ancient lands to hold just you

and every single step of the way
I pay
Every single night and day
I searched for you
through sandstorms and hazy dawns
I reached for you

I stole ten thousand pounds,
ten thousand pounds to see you
I robbed convenience stores
'cause I thought they'd make it easier
I lived of rats and toads and I starved for you
I fought of giant bears and I killed them too

and every single step of the way
I pay
Every single night and day
I searched for you
through sandstorms and hazy dawns
I reached for you

I'm tired and I'm weak, but I'm strong for you
I wan' go home but my love gets me through

lalaalalalaalalalalalala
lalaalalalaalalalalaaaaa

la

PS. The last LA is crucial laugh

I really like some of the words to "I'm in Love with the 80's" by Relient K.
I know its christian rock and I'm not even christian, but the words are cool and make me laugh.
I like this line:
"And I'm only gonna pierce my left ear
I've been working on thes moustache all summer long
And my favorite band will always be Tears for Fears
And I'm gonna wear a pink tux to the prom."

Its kinda dumb, but I like it....
