Alright... Hey everyone,

My sister is traveling to New York and Niagara Falls in June, but she's never been before nor going with anyone that has either. So, I need some help from those that either live in those areas or have traveled to them before for interesting/good restaurants/places to go.

She's staying there for 9 days. 4 in the city, 3 for the side trip to and back from Niagara, and then 2 more back in the city.

Now, here are a few places and things she's already decided to do.

The second night she's going to the Addam's Family play.
She plans to take is one subway trip that passes a stop that has been closed for 50 years.
She wants to go to the natural history museum, or at least one other museum.

On her trip either to or from the falls, she wants to stop at Howe Caverns and Oneida, New York ('cause she finds fringe religions fascinating).
For this, I would like to know what are some interesting routes to take. I guess most would call it the scenic route, but interesting general is fine by me.

Now, for restaurants, she does not eat any fish or red meat; so, steak houses/sushi bars are not a good idea.
Also, she does not share my interest in manga... therefore, suggesting bookoff or Kinokuniya would not work either.
She will not spend anymore money for plays; though, she should really go see the book of mormon, but that's already a no from her.

She likes "foofoo" teas... and sweets in general (ice cream parlors, cupcake shops, etc.).... So, dessert and tea shops would also be greatly appreciated.

If I can remember or add anything else, I'll be sure to let you know.
