Hello all those who have Ipod touches. 🙂
My question is a simple one. Can you read manga on the Ipod touch? I have been looking into the Ipod because I plan to buy one soon. I haven't found anything online though about reading capabilities on it. I would imagine though, that since you can put images on it you would be able to just put manga on it as images and read it that way. Also, if I did it this way, is there anyway to zoom in on an image on the ipod (to make the text look larger)?
Thanks for reading.

Oh there's an app for it as well? Interesting.
I just use the internet. Find your online reader and just go from there no problem. Especially if they have mobile versions. One Manga's was quite good...shame about the fact that they're basically gone now...

Zooming is also no problem. Two fingers on the screen, pull them apart to zoom in, and back in to zoom out.

If I'm not mistaking, it's quite hard. You can go to mobile version of reader sites, that would solve the problem. My brother has one and said you can't download anything on it (no files whatsoever). It's also quite annoying as you can't easily put files on it... except if you go through iTunes blah blah blah... Mine is in the mail so hopefully it's not so bad. I've heard of jailbreaking Ipods... so if you can do that then ur set 😀

Yes, you can read manga with or without apps on an Itouch. And you can find apps easily by just doing a search via Itunes and find which one suits your needs more.

The problem is, you would need internet to do both, because you would first need internet to download the chapters on the app, before you can read it offline. So unless you are planning to stockpile up some manga on your itouch before you go out, I think something like an Iphone would be better in terms of reading manga for it's constant wifi (but really personally I just feel it seems kinda like a waste to buy an Iphone just to read manga... >.<).

If you don't want to download manga into your ipod u can always use the mobile version of mangafox. its extremely easy to use n zooming in is no problem. 🙂 of course you need wifi to use it but it's the same with apps. i prefer using MF cause it doesn't take up space on my iTouch..more room for games n music! 8D
