Hi, I just found out today that Negima! Neo? is over at vol 7. So I was thinking about reading it. My question is that I have only read up to vol 6 of the original Negima so far. So does Negima! Neo? ruin/spoil anything from the original series?

No, Negima Neo may originally begin somewhat similarly, but it diverges fairly quickly from the original storyline. While I haven't finished the Neo story myself, as far as I've gotten in it, it's a vastly different plotline.

Ok, awesome. I usually like reading the manga when it's finished so there's no waiting, but I wanted to make sure it's different. I saw season 1 of Negima and I wonder how much is the same, but I can tell that I think it covers volumes 1-11 maybe 12 which am kinda disappointed that I watched cause it spoiled some.

the anime is similar but is not the same...this events might be similar but it gives a totally different feel than the manga
