In answer to your poll question, I voted no.

I watched Superbad, and I have to admit, it is properly titled. The movie sucked on a level that I actually felt my intelligence decrease after having viewed it.

Needless to say, the "McLovin'" joke, while having some hilarious impact the first time you hear it, has no repeat comic value.

It's become the new "I'm Rick James, Bitch!" saying.

By that I mean everyone is using it to death now, and it is no longer funny or significant in any way.

I hope, in the future, when joining forums, you'll take more consideration into your username. Because now you will forever be associated with a lame quote from a stale movie.

I dissagree, While some of the humor was a bit mundane and it didn't exactlly have any jokes that wouldd go over your head i still think it was well made and the actors also fullfilled thier roles. It wasn't worth an Oscar but it was still a good movie. And even tho you think it was a bad movie try to make one so all your hard work and be critisized by ppl and then laugh and brushed off.

Superbad... I have never watched the movie.
I'm tired, you can go figure out stuff yourself like I did...

Rather than picking a fight, it sounds like you're being a bit defensive in regards to the movie.

To me it sounds like you're a fan of the movie who is angry that someone else stated an opinion that the movie sucked.

Is the only real response you have to me to go make my own movie so it can be critiscized?

That's not helping your case, at all. I never said the actors where bad, I said the movie sucked. Thats not the actors fault, thats the fault of the director and the screen writer (the man who wrote the script).

If you seriously want to try and get me to believe that Superbad was a good movie, you'd have to go remake it into a better movie.

The plot is idiotic, and the comedy is stale.

The only redeeming point of the film is the friendship between the two main characters, and the only scene worthy of note is why they both admit they're sad about going to college and will miss each other a lot.

Still, even with that, after viewing that scene, and the end credits, you realize that the entire poor film was just a lead-in to that single scene.

The movie was a waste of time, and they should have just called it "Generic Buddy Comedy".

You have no basis for stating the film is good other than the actors did they're job. Of course they did, they're actors for a reason. Even with a horrible script an actor can still do their job (this is why Ben Kingsley was in Bloodrayne).

I maintain my position that Superbad was a horrible movie, and until I see good evidence, or a valid argument otherwise, I will continue to believe so.
