Add Dropped Option in Advanced Search
I suggest to add "dropped release" (or something like that) in Extended Options so scanlator group can pick up dropped series that fit their taste easily.
So the option like:
Show all manga
Only show completely scanlated manga
Only show completed (including oneshots) manga
Only show one shots
Exclude one shots
Only show manga with at least one release
Only show manga with no releases
Only show manga with dropped release
Hmm, maybe it's hard since there's no Scanslation Status in series' information page, can you add it like in MT?

I liked that idea.
Besides, if the "Scanlation Status" can be implemented, maybe another option like "Only show manga with active scanlation" could be implemented as well, and that would be just as useful!

How exactly would a "dropped" series would be judged? No release in how long? Two or three months? And what about teams that work strictly from volume releases? What about monthlies or series on hiatus?
As to the "scanlation status", it probably won't be implemented. I actually suggested a similar idea (with an option for recruitment) a few years back. As you can see, it didn't pass.
You can PM me if you need a temporary (freelance) cleaner/redrawer for some project. Especially if it's something with nice art.
Being the lazy person that I am, I'm not likely to accept anything long-term though.

Well, in MT dropped series are those which no release for over six months. Considering scanlator that work strictly from volume, it's better to prolong it to nine months instead of six. Hiatus already an option in Status in Country of Origin.
I don't know if it's possible or not (IT, web development, and such isn't my field of expertise), what I want is an program (or script, or whatever you called it) that can change and update according to the conditions (in microsoft excel it's known as IF Function) rather than do it manually. But of course it can be change manually too.
Here's my idea:
-If Completely Scanlated? is YES, then Scanlation status is COMPLETE
-If Status in Country of Origin is HIATUS, then Scanlation status is HIATUS
-If Status in Country of Origin is ONGOING, then Scanlation status is either ONGOING or DROPPED
-If Latest Release(s) is 270 days or less, then Scanlation status is ONGOING
Of course there are plenty of change to add Scanlation status, so there's no need to add this function if it's too much a pain in the ass. Like I said, it's not really matter whether there's Scanlation status or not.
Or we can simply just make it like MT, the value change manually between ONGOING/DROPPED/COMPLETE, I mean if MT can do it, why MU (despite the number one source of manga database) can't do?
If one way or another Scanlation status isn't possible, just add Is this series dropped? in series' page information which value NO, YES, and --- (blank value for completely scanlated or hiatus series). And if it's not possible too, I can think an alternative or two.
Oh yeah, I joined about 7 months ago so I don't have any slightest idea about your suggestion(s). I'm a busy person and don't have any spare time to read it. So if you could be so kind as to summarize the important things in that post and tell me right away, I will gladly help you find a way to solve the problem(s).
