Not sure if this is already a topic but I think a forum search would be impossible.

I'm looking for a manga where there are two friends - one is openly gay and the other is straight. They are really great mates but none of them have ever considered the other.
Both guys could also be dating other people and they consult each other for relationship advice etc.

The straight guy (preferably) then starts to develop feelings for the gay guy (he's never had these feelings before)
And discovers he is now in love with him.
And so the story begins.

And pleaseeee do not recommend me a manga where the straight guy starts to go after the gay guy and finds out the gay dude has liked him all along. It's soooooo boring, I want a bit of shock and a bit of struggle!!

The problem part here is your last point.
I'm not sure they write a lot of yaoi like that, if at all.

I'll try suggesting something close to it then -
I want to become your Bird.
The uke (gay) shows interest first, and it slowly develops.
I mean, the dude's dating the uke's sister. xD;
I don't think the seme's "loved him all along", but he definitely developed feelings.

A maybe here (on the first two oneshots) -
Ai no Kotoba wo Uragaeshi
The uke is the 'straight' one here, and he kinda unwillingly lets the kid fuck him.

The uke sleeps with the seme, but likes to go out with big boobed girls.
He later starts thinking about the seme and all the great sex they have and the food he makes him...
And we have feelings introduced.
But he's a cheating bastid.

Bonus with these two is the yummy art.
First one has pretty art as well, but the uke's a bit too young and girly for my taste.
Still, the best story out of the three is the first, in my opinion.
