Hey, I am quite pleased. I actually said "Yes" to myself when Obito didn't just willingly take Naruto's hand. In fact, he put Obito in an elaborate genjustu and forcefully pulled everything out of him.

This chapter did feel short and slow though. I think this is because we read it weekly, it will be much better when read as a volume.

Meh, I feel like I can somewhat see whats going to happen :/. Madara gonna absorb the bijuu and reform the juubi inside himself, they gonna fight him, gonna get their asses kicked , then in the end, as an act of redemption obito gonna use some high leveling sealing technique to seal himself and madara and the juubi. And say something cliché like " I am doing this AS OBITO UCHIHA"

Does this mean that Obito's about to die? Pulling out the Jinchuuriki kills the host. If so, he's about to use the last of his strength to revive Madara, which was the original plan anyways.

That is actually a good point, Juubi is essentially a Bijuu and if the other Jinchuriki died by extraction then it makes sense he would also die. If he does not I call bullshit, but if he does then before he does I am 100% sure he will do some crap that aids in the downfall of Madara or some crap despite all the other Jinchuriki dying asap after the beast was taken.

Obviously you haven't read naruto...people don't die when they are killed. The assistant of the disciple of the hokage who died just needs to use a technique with no consequences to bring them back.

Also, you guys sure it was a genjutsu or just a memory coming back? Last i checked naruto ( or anyone for that matter) cannot cast a genjutsu by punching people (itachi excluded).

What I don't get is why Orochimaru didn't summon Jiraya. I get that his body was lost in the reservoir or whatever in Hidden Rain Village, but I'm pretty sure Orochimaru would have already collected the sample he needed before even leaving Konoha the first time. It stands to reason that he would have been a valuable asset to either side in the Ninja War, since he's essentially the Fifth Hokage that everyone wanted.

EDIT: This is especially true because he already had Tsunade's lover and brother ready.

because Kishi is saving him as a plot hole for development. If he does need some impact later on he can just resurrect him, either that or just make him a bad guy later on 😛
