seriously! this volume is an even greater cliffhanger than the last volume of immortal regis...i was so disappointed by how much of a jackass Nex became in volume 1 but now that i've went through volume 4, i'm not so sure if he is the main antagonist in the sequel...also, the fact that depore's still sticking with him to this day means that he couldn't be too evil...she was attached to him in the first place because he seeked to protect others rather than to satisfy his own greed!

with these new developments, i'm becoming more and more curious of the supposedly irrevocable betrayal that Serin had committed in the past...judging from these flashbacks from the past, it appears to me that Nex and Serin were all over each other at the time, so what could've possibly happened to have compelled Nex to change into this bloody ruthless ruler?! and who's actually Nex's real son? it appears to me that Miya's the only one of his children that he actually cares for, unless it was just her "royal blood" that he was trying to protect....also, what's with the Xix kid?...he doesn't resemble Nex in anyway except for his passion for vengeance, so i don't think they're actually related...

there is so much passion in the recent volumes that my anticipation for this sequel has increased marginally...i'm still counting Serin and Nex getting back together somehow 🤣

there are still many things need to be cleared, I actually liked how they started the story like this. Cant wait for next volume
