Just like a man. Give it all your heart, mind, soul; and then the relationship ends abruptly. And if you're lucky, you can get some side action for awhile; you know before they move on.
Not that has happen to me...

It's kind of sad though how the mangaka rushed it.. didn't seem like she cared :/ after how many years? She decided with that? REALLY? Not to mention how the previous chapter was so....great. Anyways looking forward to the extra stories.

whaa!! 😢 I can't belive it ended like that. I just read this in like 3 days and it ends like that...just a little more clousre and I would have been satisfied. oh well, still was a fantastic manga, though the part with Chiaki's father did seem a little short/rushed...I kinda wanted more...oh well! Over all loved it and will def read again!! 😛

I'm also really really surprise about the ending, it was just went to the climax but ends quickly. Still didn't really got it after some hours after i read the last chapter. It felt exactly like the title of this topic "Wait. It's over?" But still love Nodame after all, kinda disappointed that it ends, but at least it ends just when it gets to the best of it !

Of course, i hope there are some specials of it ! 😉

maybe if you all go and spam the internet with your outrage at the ending she will make the bangaihen on december 10th into an alternate ending. Go... try. 🙄

I honestly thought the series was dragging on too long, as most do. But the ending... >.>

I'm hoping that the anime and live action adaptions are going to be more complete than that shoddy attempt. sigh

yeah Nodame did piss me off at the end, but to be fair, she was chasing after Chiaki the whole time but yeah I agree with you I was really unhappy with Nodame's decision. Anyways, I always felt that Chiaki and Rui would have made a fabulous couple, because Rui really is a carefree girl and seemed to love Chiaki too.
