Wait was THAT supposed to be the end? No way! >:-( Talk about a lame ending to a great manga. I atleast wanted a marriage proposal or Nodame playing the piano while Chiaki conducts or atleast a kiss. It was way too rushed, and didnt feel like an ending at all IMO

if this is the end than im really disappointed... i expected more... kiss, concerto, proposal, something, anything... ending just feels empty...

I'm very disappointed as well. This is such a great series yet its ending was so VERY rushed... I can't believe that this is the real ending... it is very much lacking in closure... I was expecting much much more and this was really..argh....

I love this series and recommend it often yet I'm now thinking otherwise... reading the ending somehow breaks my heart. And to think that the series held a lot of potential.... sigh

yeah, i'm just praying for more. I mean, it could have been done, the chapter before finished on such a high note that i thought it would end with us going straight to the concerto where we would get a reunion and then an expression of music that takes the love that chiaki and nodame feel and shows it to the world and amazes everyone...and then a proposal or a kiss or ANYTHING!

Lol. I didn't realize it was the ending XD
And when I read the notes on the release of the chapter, I noticed '(end)' and thought that it was a mistake. XD
What a let down. XD
I hope there's at least a sequel that can conclude the series. =/

I think the health problems make the mangaka to decide to rush to the end after the manga already lost its interest because of the long pause and the anime is doing really well.

Yeah, hopefully the side story will help clear everything up. It's coming out pretty soon, so maybe that'll be the ending which actually gives the manga some closure?

kind reminded me of the ending for city hunter... no closure, they live on happy ever after together... but you make up the story yourself 🙂

I can't believe it's the ending! The great momentum set by the previous chapters were all disregarded on the ending. I can't help but feel sad, Nodame Cantabile is one of my favorite mangas. 🙁 I'm still wishing for a small continuation or an extra chapter like an epilogue.

what an open ended finale... i was hoping for more like nodame playing along with chiaki in the orchestra. i hope Ninomiya sensei will do an extra chapter or two to wrap up some issues.

wow the final phrase of the manga "that again", reading that I was so shocked and I thought that the file I downloaded was incomplete or something... I mean like someone said b4, it didnt even say "the End"
