I am not really scared of anything. I would probably fear for my life when anything was actually happening but that is only a natural reaction. Although I have to admit that the thought of being attacked by a shark, crocodile or any other "soulless" killing machine as well as poisonous animals is disturbing.

Quote from Browine

All of the thing sound scary -.-"". I hate scary stuff and it pretty are to go sleep because of it. I hate horror stuff, **The last time i watch a scary movie was the ring and i ran out of my house then later ran in because outside was dark. **
Also when i was playing the maze game on the computer, i couldn't go back to my computer for a couple of weeks cause i thought it was hunted.
And there was a time when i got a first chain mail, i couldn't sleep sleep alone because of it.

I hope you didn't exaggerate your story, because this is really cute, especially the marked part.

I said infections.

Something happening like "Resident Evil". (Not that the movies scare me, but the idea of it happening for real scares me.)

I find it highly intriguing.

Ghosts, the one's that you can't see but hear and suddenly pop out in front of your face.

With things like SAW, I feel more disgusted than scared.

A side note, anyone tried this yet?

A quick horror game playable only when your computer clock is between 6pm-6am, webcam and mic not really necessary until the final stage.

Play alone in a dark room. Have fun.

Suspense, and psychological twists (The Twilight Zone, anyone?) scare me. Overt gore is disturbing rather than scary.

But I like scary things in general. Horror movies are love. I just wouldn't want (most of them) happening to me.

Teehee, now I want to go watch Audition again 🙂

This is true with me too.

Not really a fan of horror and would most likely watch them only if I'm with someone who wants to.

For me it is slow things. Things you know are coming (so obvious an idiot would know it's coming), but you have no clue what it is or what it looks like or what it will do. Its extremely rare to find a horror movie that scares me.

EDIT:Also it's not something that pops out to try and scare you...It slowly shows its self.

The Eternity, when i was a 7 year old kid, i first realized how scary a timeless existence can be.The universe is an infinite space, what is the bound of infinite dimensions?, what is the end of the universe?what is the end of time? let your mind travel far and far away, and you can't stop until you reach the end of the universe, you can't not die even when you are exhausted,...the end of my nightmare is a endless void, not dark but completely white, a white and infinite space where there is nothing except myself wandering there,i must live for an eternity walking aimlessly like that...well, that was my weird personal trauma when i first knew about Big Bang theory. It brought me one of my worst nightmare, and obsessed me until high school, ofcourse i won't live forever but i was still afraid to think about it.However thank to several physics theory about the end of universe i won't have to live forever to find the answer for myself 🤣 that's how i overcame my first terror.
And now let's come to the greatest terror for EVERY ONE, it is called "hidden danger".It's the disaster that we are not aware of until it's too late, it is concealed by the curtain of unquestioning thinking.Imagine that you are walking in the street meanwhile some where deep beneath the surface of the earth there's a sudden release of seismic wave that will cause an enormous earthquake and it will devastate the city in several seconds. Not scary enough?, then how about hundreds of undetected black holes, each with a mass thousands of times greater than the Sun, might be stealthily roving our galaxy, ready to devour anything that crosses their paths. We knew they exist but since it's very difficult to spot one of them,we don't know when the earth will fall into their path.Imagine that tomorrow when you wake up you the sun will disappear and you will hear on the news that the (small) black hole has engulfed the sun and is continually expanding, the earth will be devoured in the next several minutes! 😲

don't be freaked out, the chance of us to get damaged by those blackholes is tiny, the danger zone is only a few hundred kilometers. There are far more dangerous things in our neighborhood.lol

I was terrified of that idea as a kid, but as I got older; no one knows. Most of it is educated guessing, and spending my time worrying over it took a backseat to reading scientific articles about the whole affair and actually being excited about the possibilities.

Douglas Adams helped too 🤣

It's intriguing right up until the point that it affects my life. =)

(Genetics, biological substances, and the like all fascinate me.)
