Personally, I love for there to be as much detail as possible.

I understand your point of view as well, though, and I'm actually a rarity among the people I know, in the fact that I love spoilers. xD

The fact that I get spoilers does not stop me from going to the original work, because no matter how detailed spoilers may be, you're never going to get the same feeling you'd get by reading/watching/etc the original.

Cause if I just wanted a brief description, I'd go to animenewsnetwork and mangaupdates instead.

lol I'm purposely looking for spoilers when I go to wikipedia. It turned into a bad habit when on of the manga I haven't completed yet has all the details I need on Wikipedia. But why go to wikipedia in the first place if you can find the basic info on BU?!? You wanted all those details in the first place, right?

sometimes its good for like explanations of certain plot parts or developments that were confusing. i personally dont use it for spoilers but lots of people do and i dont think we can really do anything about it.

Don't they have warnings for spoilers?

I go to wiki for the spoilers. I know there are a lot of details on everything.
If you don't want spoilers, just read the manga yourself.

And they usually warn from spoilers, no? Anyhow, wiki's purpose is to give as much info as possible.
Why should people discuss it just to get spoilers? You have them all right there. What's the point in deleting them?
MU gives to a small description to start the manga with. Is that not enough, if you don't like spoilers?

Wiki does that to movies too. Has it ever occured to you that people might find this info usefull?

Sometimes i'm totaly lost, so instead of backtracking I just go to wiki and it's alllll explained there. Or i want some more info on the characters blah blah.

I don't mind spoliers, unless i'm really into the manga. If something from Naruto or Rosario + Vampire was to be leaked and I saw it I would be devastated 🙁 Others though, not very fussed. I basicly knew the plot for ichigo 100% and what was gonna happen but I still read it anyway 🤣

I have to agree, I don't mind wiki being full of spoilers at all, If anything, it entices me more. Take for example One Piece. I would have never picked it up if I hadn't gone to wiki and read about it one night when I was insanely bored. And now I adore it! And its all thanks to wiki! But, then again, I did do a lot of arc skipping thanks to it 😐

Its simply a matter of how much info you want to know. If you want the full gist of the story, go to wiki {or if you're beyond lost @_@} If you just want a snippet of understanding, come to MU or just jump in 🤣
