I have a few suggestions concerning safety for minors...

1. Require registration to view hentai/adult/mature titles.
2. Optional, separate password for filter.
3. Hide titles with no entries by default, only registered users can view them, with ability to filter them out.
4. Warning when navigating to what some might consider "questionable" content, such as lolicon, shotacon, yuri and yaoi (not necessarily shonen/shojo ai though).

I know it won't prevent minors from seeing this stuff completely, but it will make it a difficult enough process that it would be easy for parents monitor underage readers and to help keep you and others out of trouble.

I say, "Nay".

Like you said, if they really want it, they could get it easily. I mean... this is the internet we're talking about. And I reckon all those implementations aren't an easy feat, so it would be all for naught.

While I agree it should be harder for minors to access hentai I don't think implimenting such things here would have very little affect and wouldn't really be worth it

Its not like they wouldn't lie when they registered anyways.
