So, I've read about stuff like this where one guy amputated his arm and part of his finger and attached them to his twin's body or folks who like... ya know, decide to do away with their nose.

So, would you ever consider doing it? And if so, how far would you go?

As for me: here's my answer.

No for now but who knows, in the near future, hmm? I wonder what it'd be like to... say, exchange fingers with my beloved or even have another hand. 🙂

I enjoy reading about body modification, but I don't think I'd ever actually do it. There are some really awesome things that people can do now that science has advanced this far. I read about a tattoo which doubled as a cellphone, powered by the movement of your blood. I've also heard about people tattooing and getting surgical implants to resemble animals.

The most I'd mod my body is piercing and tattooing. But even that, I don't do excessively.

Heck no, I've pierced my ears multiple times but that's about as far as I'm willing to go. Maybe a small tattoo where it wouldn't show unless I wanted it to...

The extreme stuff #1 looks waaaaay too painful; and #2 seems likely to have a much higher chance of complications either at the time it's done or later on or both.

hmm. interesting but I wouldn't do anything that involved cutting off an appendage.
I think that starts to cross the line from extreme over to crazy. However I've seen people get their ears pointed like elves and that would be cool.

Another thing I kind of like but would never go for are the silcone shapes they can put under your skin to accent tattos.
I'd take purple or blue skin though.

I love hearing about this kind of stuff, but I don't see it as helping my career path.....so I pierced my ears and that's it. although my friend keeps on sending me articles about UV tattoos....hmmm. thats about as far as I think I could realistically go. I sometimes think about amputation of fingers or toes, which ones would I take out?? middle finger? that would be a cool statement but it would have to be the left one because I use the middle right more as much as my index. So maybe I could cut off the index finger. left ring finger would also be interesting but I do plan on marriage so where would I put the ring? but there is no way I'd do that, awfully fun to think about though. I did sorta promise my friend I would get a genital piercing if she did, but that's not extreme.

If I were to do something I'd wait till I got a job. that way I'd know that it wasn't just some college-aged mistake before my brain is fully mature. plus then I wouldn't be depending on my parents.

Its pretty disturbin' and I hope to God i m never okay with that. This is a total no from me, there are many things on earth and in my life to do with this body that God and my parents gave me,its disrespectful and look at it this way, you might do whatever you want with ur body, but if someone you really love does that to theirs, would you take it with such ease?

How extreme a body mutation are you talking? I would, If money and my job allowed, get a full body tat. But, I'd get kicked from the service, my mother would disown me, and I'd rather blow my money on sake and a new comp........

Er, I'd like to change my skin really, just make it really really white, inhumanly white, definitely not associated with a race, like M.J. but much lighter. Also, no external hair anywhere except top of head, eyelashes, some eyebrows. Change the shape of my nose a bit, I just don't really love love the way it is, as it is broken. Other than that, a few piercings, the usual on the face/ears. So yes, I am okay with it.
