I don't know if anyone has asked about this before but would you guys consider a light novel start/finish section under the anime start/finish section?

Well, manga don't generally get light novel adaptations so it's less useful. I mean at most the get a light novel spin off with a different plot.

Have you ever seen a manga and a light novel, where the light novel ended sooner than the manga? 😮 😲 I'm sure there must be at least one, but I haven't seen it yet.
Generally light novels have manga adaptations, and not the other way around.

Well, it's just that the manga versions of light novels don't always go to the end.
Example: Saiunkoku Monogatari
The anime ends at the 12 novel volume. But I don't know where the manga adaptation ends

And why would it help with that if the manga description had a section of "the light novel ends at volume x of the manga". Because that is what you were suggesting.
I guess it could be done the other way around, so that the light novels have a section that says where the manga adaptation ends, but that would mean that light novels would need to have different series stats than mangas.

Why else does this site exist? To dispense information. It doesn't have to be worded like that. I was hoping it would say 'light novel start/end" but I guess that would seem redundant if that is in the novel section.
