Translator's Notes: The novel is a slow burn. It might start out as your bog-standard revenge-plot, reincarnation story. But the execution is solid, and there's plenty of satisfying face-slapping moments throughout. What makes it unique is that the author eventually starts turning well-established tropes of this genre on their head and subverting expectations in really interesting ways you'd never expect.
