In 2007 Mr. Hart became the first native German writer to sell two original books to the US market – without being represented by a US agency. IT TAKES A WIZARD and 10 BEAUTIFUL ASSASSINS will be hitting the book shelves in 2009, to be published by Tor Books/Seven Seas Publishing.

Before he lost his marbles (three dozen, to be exact, all in a perfect blue. If found, please return them immediately) and went to write full-time, Thomas R. Hart was a a media consultant and tdeveloped a variety of magazines, including the European Business 2.0, the Official Dreamcast Magazine, the PSM 2, T3 and many others. He also had a short run as a television personality, having launched and hosted the cable show Netbeat for NBC Europe, before somebody told him that being on TV really does add twenty pounds.

He is the owner of the Word Factory (www.the-word-factory.com) and currently lives under a giant rock near Düsseldorf, Germany, where he can often be seen drawing up elaborate schemes to rule the world. With red crayons. On napkins. It makes him happy. Don't ask.
