Description

Because Yukino's mom is a housekeeper for the Renjo familiy, she has to suffer the pain of hearing her mom praise the family she takes care of. And this is why Yukino has been trying to beat Renjo Tamaki for most of her life, so her mom would care more about her than the Renjo family. But when her mom gets sick, and she has to take care of the Renjo family instead, her goals change a little.

Spoiler (highlight to view) it started good......but...........
the main character sucks!!! big time. at first she was ok, she had real reasons to hate the guy, but then she meets him and falls in love with him, which would have been just fine if it took some more time. and she goes all ga-ga for him, and rejects the middle son, and well we all know the youngest doesn't stand a chance, but she still gets all jealous over the other she had already rejected, while being with the one she claims to love.
throughout the almost finished manga she just pisses me off so much!!!!!!!!!! |

I really enjoyed this reverse harem manga, turned out to have way more depth than I was expecting. The main female is definitely Aihara's best one and a great female lead in general.
The boys are very cliche individuals at the beginning meeting your reverse harem stereotypes perfectly, which is fine. The dramaz I felt actually gave them more depth and flawed them, making them more than just their cliches. The development of the relationships were well paced, not rushed at all, each very suited to the types of relationships that Yukino had with each boy.
The plot itself isn't great, very mundane and typical, just a background to the developing relationships and an effort to complicate Yukino's relationships with the boys. The mystery in the story feels drawn out too long and made out to be way more than it really is (although I still don't know the whole story).
But overall I really look forward to reading the last 2 volumes.

I prefer mangas that allow the characters the time to let their feelings develop. It was too quick, fast paced what ever not and it was a typical reverse harem shoujo manga. I felt utterly disappointed with the the plot. It was lacking so much and it was hard to distinguish the guys feelings for her as there were to many.
This appeals to a formidable audience, but not me.

The first few chapters of the manga are really excellent. It was refreshing to see a female main character who's smart and tough. The story line was also really well done. Yukino has a reasonable hatred towards the Renjou family and it was interesting to see her conflict between achieving her goals and her growing affection/concern for the 3 brothers. However, towards the middle of the 2nd volume, is where it all goes so bad. The storyline becomes more focused on the scandals of the Renjou family and becomes like a typical soap opera drama. The artwork is ok in the beginning but improves a lot by the end of the series. Overall, it is a typical manga from Aihara, who seems to like family scandals (think Hot Gimmick).

Decent enough start and hooked me into the characters because, kind of like Hana Yori Dango, you pick your guy. It is a very typical shoujo that kills time and I was once upon a time addicted but after I re-read some chapters, I am at awe at my patience! Wouldn't really recommend but to each his own. Cheers-

She stands up for what she believes. Gives her all to get what she wants. Yes she loves, but she is willing to give up the guy to be #1 in his heart. I am only up to volume 3 and I seek more. I have read Hot Gimmick and I would not have read this if I had realized that this was the same author. Thanks God I overlooked it. If you are looking to charmed, than read on!

well the touch of Aihara sensei in it is well expressed...I must say! It's intriguing and twisted, just as we should expecting from her!

| A manga by the same author as Hot Gimmick! It has a great interesting plot perfect for shoujo fans. The artwork is okay. |
