A manga adaptation of the February 2015 Shunji Iwai's anime Hana to Alice - Satsujin Jiken, which is itself a prequel to the 2004 coming-of-age live-action film Hana & Alice.

Just want to say that this manga has me hooked. I've looked up the movies and I wasn't very interested, the original was a live action and some romance and the prequels animation kinda pushes me away.
I'm enjoying the manga because its much more amusing and I love the characters. There's Alice (or Tetsuko, I'm still a bit confused about that) who just moved into town and some events take place that kinda isolates her like the cursed seat, there's Mutsu who's a loner that sat in the seat before Alice and befriends her, and Hana who became a Hikikomori because of blah blah.
I'll probably give the anime a chance if it gets translated
