Too bad...

Even though Kanzaki's works are usually lacking plot and quite smutty, they usually allow you to entertain yourself. But this one is just too incomprehensible to enjoy it. And that's really a shame cause the relationship between Akiyuki and Souichirou isn't that bad, it even has more of a feeling of deep love than in most of other sensei's works.
You keep wondering what's going on, what is the intentions of everybody, and why they do what they do, or what are those traditions they always talk about. The end doesn't bring the slightest bit of explanation, and even leave you standing there.
All in all, it's really disappointing, specially because it has potential (the subject is original, the bonds seem real and strong, and the characters are endearing).

Maybe a new and correct translation could make it better, but I doubt it.

The story suffers from an incomplete feel even without the unprofessional scanlation job. The copious textual errors only compound the problem of cohesion.
The second significant implied couple have an unresolved story. The issue of changing long standing tradition -the seme's main motivation- is unclear; the main uke's development is clunky.
The art itself is good; she has a great way of drawing anger, but the connection problems with the story are too glaring for the art to overshadow.
I think if the words were redone, it'd be a decent story and then the art could shine as well.

I'm not sure if it was the story or the translation or some combination of both (this last I suspect, there are a lot of grammar, verb tense, and syntax errors in the translation), but the story made little sense.

Souichirou is part of the Sato Group, an organization of assasins. He is supposed to choose a young man named Nishikawa as his successor. However, on his way to meet Nishikawa, Souichirou runs across Akiyuki, molests him, and then decides he will be the successor. Successor training seems to involve Akiyuki playing housekeeper and sex toy for Souichirou. Nishikawa is then taken under the tutelage of Kazumi (who I first thought was Souichirou's secretary, but now I'm not sure), but this side story isn't developed. I was so confused about what was going on that I couldn't get a feel for the characters and ended up not caring about any of them. It's too bad that what might have been an interesting story ended up being a muddled mess.

Ok, this had an interesting (and hot lol) beginning, a climatic middle (which made you anticipate something), but the ending seemed a little too abrupt. Overall though I'm a sucker for anything that has to do with an akward boyish uke an a successful older seme, so that was a highlight smile Also, it seemed that there should have been a extra or side story about the other 2 men in this book, you'll see what I mean when you read it. Anyways, thats just my opinion but maybe thats just me...
