Description
From ShoujoMagic:
Karate girl Seri tries to kick away her past in order to catch a new guy at a singles party, but Tamaki, a childhood flame from her old karate dojo, shows up to show off and makes her heart pound. Their reintroduction leads to a karate challenge, and if Seri loses, she must become Tamaki's "toy"...!? It's a game of love with more rivals and obstacles (and sex!--LOTS of SEX!) than either Seri or Tamaki could have foreseen!

Even rape, but the kind of rape you'll get if you drink too much or if a bartender gives you something in your drink.
I'm sick of readin' this kind of mangas were the girls are all goin' for sex, are they sex addict or something! if it was 'bout rape.
the romance wasn't cute and too dramatic. the mangaka should go to a club at night, or have a party just to watch how teenagers are! |

At first it catched my attention but after a while it got pretty boring.Just for the sake of ending reading it I did it, so yeah, after reading the whole thing I can still, and even more say it's pretty crappy -_- I give this rating because if you're looking for tons of smut, there you go, that and/or you love foolish/stupid females that go along with rutinary rape ._.

I totally didn't like this manga.
I didn't like the characters and didn't like the storyline.
The girl was like, so stupid. She is realy strong an good in karate, how can she get raped so easily, I didn't even finished this -_____-

you know....it's not the rape scenes that make me hate this...nor is it the lame non-existent characters, nor is it the lack of genre and not even the totally horrible story line.....it's the total and utter lack of COMMON SENSE

Sorry, but I just had to comment on this manga and it is a lot. What Hanjae (the guy below me) said is pretty much I would say, "This just makes you try to flip through the chapters faster" or "Obstacles in the way of annoying, clingy women and good-looking guys (with bad taste, if they like Seri's type) would repeatedly pop up and try to tear Seri and Tamaki apart". Sorry Hanjae, I'm quoting some stuff you said earlier but I agreed with you 100%.
ALL about sex, sex, sex, sex, drama, sex, more sex, rape, more rape, Ok.... anything new ?? Is it me or every "male" they encounter want to have their "ways" with Seri. I mean EVERY guy. Geez, how horny are they!? I mean sex is great but not every 5 minutes. Anyway, the artwork is good (I have to give some credit at least). Though I skim through the story since chapter 10 or so and had to at least finish the story. This is my opinion but I think the lesson from here is that the girl know karate but can't do #### and the guys abuse karate for sexual pleasure. Hmm.... it make rapers want to learn karate.

I have never been a fan of Minami Kanan's art OR plots (or lack thereof, really), so I'm not sure how the first volume of this ended up on my harddrive. I decided to give it a go, and I heartily regret even bothering. Usually, I'd bear with at least 2 volumes before I decide whether I should give it up or not, but this is just terrible.
Firstly, the characterization is totally inconsistent. Seri is repeatedly referred to, by herself and others, as a "wild girl", tough and rather tomboyish from her karate days. However, not once have we seen her fend off attacks from Tamaki or anyone else. Even if we peg it down to her infatuation with Tamaki, not even the dumbest of people would just sit there and let themselves be undressed and almost raped. Seri throws out the occasional punch and kick, but when push comes to shove, she sits there crying and unresisting. I have my doubts that Seri can even fight her way out of a paper bag.
Secondly, the plot. I'd go in-depth, but there really isn't much beyond what you see up there in the synopsis. Obstacles in the way of annoying, clingy women and good-looking guys (with bad taste, if they like Seri's type) would repeatedly pop up and try to tear Seri and Tamaki apart. It's been done a million times before, and done better; although cliche, a good author could make it feel like something fresh, and tugs at your heartstrings. This just makes you try to flip through the chapters faster.
Thirdly, the art. I find Minami Kanan's art painful on the eyes because there are numerous panels in which the characters' bodies are wackily proportioned (arms too long, hands far too big, eyes and mouth taking up the whole face, etc). Considering the characters are throwing off their clothes in every other chapter, you'd think she'd be better at drawing their bodies, but unfortunately not. To be fair, there are some occasional panels in which Tamaki or Sora look pretty good.
If you're looking for great art, good plots and characters you can like or identify with, then you definitely won't find it here. However, as selenoliber mentioned, if you're looking for brainless smut (rude jerks tearing off the girl's clothes in the name of love, main character almost getting raped every chapter, etc.) and you've already worked your way through all the better smutty stories out there, then you might enjoy this. Maybe.

It's not a great series at all if you are looking for anything but sexual gratification. This is smut in every sense of the word. The plot or lack thereof all lead to some sort of sexual situation, the characters are there for the sex so you're not going to find much in the character development department.
That being said, it's a pretty good guilty pleasure read if you simply want something light and smutty. The artwork is adequate and there are occasional very pretty panels. Most of the manga involves hot, passionate scenes and some border a little too closely to rape. If you're into that sort of dominant male lead type of manga, you'll like it.
It really depends on what you're looking for and for those of us who just want the smut, this is pretty good.

well i didnt mind the manga up until she started getting sexually assulted, it was just so not believable, i tried to pick it back up again but its really just rubbish. i made it to the start of vol 7 and i cant continue. tho so far she never actually gets raped so to speak, as rape is penetration, where as this is more like extreme sexual assult, and she just brushed it off like nothing happened... a one time offense i could get over but he does it for an entire volume, umm call the police ... hello ... then another guy does it to her... its the same rubbish the entire way through...
2/10 cause the start was decent but its really a spirling crap heap.
