It was funny and cute to me and it captured ym interest from the beginning I really like this author and her works It might not be for everyone but if you are like me that likes cute stories with cosplay, butlers and perky uncles this is for you
I'm a little confused... It shows that there are 2 volumes (complete) in the home country, and yet I can't even find a japanese raw version of the 2nd volume. According to MangaTraders, there was only 1 volume in the home country? o_O Ahh!! I like this manga, but it would have been nice if I could find the 2nd volume!
i think the story is funny and it's not soposed to be deep. it's the yaoi version of a romantic comedy. lighthearted and sweet. be it,,,,its kinda frustrating in the H department but when you read it you'll understand! great read! i think the other comments were wayyyyyyyy to harsh. i read them and wondered if we were even reading the same manga!
This one was also in Shimada-sensei's typical light-hearted style. The plot wasn't as fun as the predictable but well woven Innoncent Maze or the intriguing uniqueness of Ai no DNA and the characters' weren't as interesting as the boys in those two books, but it was definitely a sister story. The relationship built too fast from too much animosity so it became unbelievable and unconvincing. The focus was the humour and their eternal coitus interruptus. I did find myself laughing from time to time (especially at the bizarre morality and push-pull of the butler's personality), but it was just a little too shallow for me to put down roots, so my interest eroded. The art was typical cuteness; nothing really glaringly wrong, but nothing really glaringly awesome either.
Eh. It wasn't very good. The plot was extremely shallow and the charctization was flimsy as hell. Also the art wasn't to my liking either (really girly looking main character). It was entertaining in a brain dead way. I've read good yaoi that was not only entertaining but also not mind numbingly stupid, Maid in Heaven is not one of those titles.
