Description
Love can be obsessive. Like wanting to rip the wings off a butterfly. Chokuo has been in love with Taichiro for a long time. Taichiro and Chokuo have known each other since childhood. At one point, Taichiro became very candid and told Chokuo that he hated her so much that he wanted to kill her. Even so, Chokuo's desire toward him never really changed. One day, a senior in her athletics club confessed to her. Filled with burning jealousy, Taichiro also confessed to Chokuo. Their insecure, but very obessive love begins. An extra can be found inside of Yoru Koi.

| I find this manga...strange, and find it very hard to review, I don't know if I'm slightly dumb or some thing but I find it hard to understand this manga, I don't know if its the way its written or just that the language is suppose to imply rather then state I just find it difficult to know what is actually going on. Further more I'm not a fan of the art, it also makes it more difficult to understand. Overall not a fan its all a bit strange, slow and an overwhelming creepy yet tragic vibe is what I get from the story and the characters. These two people are bound together yet hate that they are bound especially in the case of the male, it seems like a controlling and overall destructive relationship that I can't condone and do not feel will end happily. Read if your into a kind of manga that presents a different type of relationship. Personally not my cup of tea. |

I read the first volume of this manga and I find it very disturbing. I mean the characters are horrible people. I don't like Chouko at all. How can she spread false rumors like that and just watch while Megane kun gets bullied. No wonder he said he hates her. Megane kun too is mean. He cruelly dumped that one girl who honestly loved him. And she was about to commit suicide. I have no interest in a disturbing cruel couple like this.

This manga, is the most interesting, most awesome and most creative manga I've read so far. I like the fact it's disturbingly intersting and its something that is not stereotypical type of love that MOST manga's are.
Totally addicted to this manga.
Can't wait til the next updates come.

After reading the synopsis, I lost any and all desire to read this manga. The whole idea of a dark and twisted love, as well as the psycological aspect seemed very wrong. I thought it would be painful to read it. However after seeing it get really good reviews, I decided to give it a try, and just see if it was worth reading. I have to say, I'm glad I did. Yes, its a dark romance. The guy is extremely possessive, and the girl, almost as possessive as he is. As others go after each of them, neither of them can see anyone else. Truly a good story. Can't wait for more!

I really like this (although I have been waiting over a year for the continuation), I would take manga like this anyday to the usual cliche weak girl/strong guy crap out there.
I think this manga shows us perfectly well that there is other types of love out there, rather than the standard.
Open your mind, you may be surprised and actually like this.

Reading this manga made me love manga like this.
it is unpredictable, interesting & yes, disturbing.
BUT, i still love it.
while reading this, i can feel my heart clenching & squeezing.
i don't know why.
the story is just ... intense.
not just because of the smutty part.
I love it how the author drawn them.
The story is LOVE.
i can't wait for the next update.

Yes, this manga IS disturbing..... but it's meant to be!
I mean, look at what it's categorized as up above. Notice how it is labeled as a psychological, as well as a romance.
I really enjoyed this manga, because I was starting to get bored with the usual cliched shoujo, where everything is just find and dandy all the time.
It's obsessive theme was very disturbing to me, but like some other people who commented, I happened to find it intriguing.
I just wish that there would be another release soon!

Speaking as someone who has a tendency to obsess over things and people, and as one who has been the object of an obsession, this manga is startlingly realistic. Because, yes, people can really feel that intensely for one another. It's sort of rare and not at all healthy, but it does happen.
Anyway, what I'm saying is, this manga is realistic and deals with some of the darker parts of the human psyche, and is a very interesting read from nearly any perspective (if you let yourself be open to something non-traditional, that is).

I mean, it does say it's for a mature audience.. and that it get's psychological and twisted , so sure it's not your usual fluff.
It goes deeper, exploring the egoistical human nature, of wanting to possess someone so badly that it's not even sain anymore.
It about the dark side of love, when you want someone so much that you'd like to swallow them up and never let go.
And can someone really say that they never hurt their loved one on purpose ,just to see that pained expression that confirms that they care about you?

yup, recently..i read from a scanlating group called "a willful muse" that this title have been disqualified from being picked up..because of those fraud voters...when i found out about this (i'm too late from voting because i have no idea that this is one of the big 3 that they're planning to pick up) there's another new batch of titles that are being voted...i really hope they'd consider this title in the future...despite this event...
coz personally even if it's CREEPY for its OBSSESSED theme, it's my first time reading such shoujo theme..that's why I'm patiently waiting for this title to be pick up again and hopefully finished...
